01How much does professional data backup cost?+

02Will my data stay in Germany?+
Always. We back up exclusively to German data centers (Hetzner Nuremberg/Falkenstein, IONOS Karlsruhe/Berlin, Azure Frankfurt). Your data never leaves the EU at any time. A DPA and full GDPR documentation are provided.
03How often are backups made?+
By default: critical data hourly, servers daily, complete system images weekly. We adjust the frequency to your RPO (recovery point objective) — i.e., the maximum data loss you can afford.
04What are immutable backups and why do I need them?+
Immutable backups cannot be changed or deleted once written — not even by administrator accounts. Ransomware typically encrypts all reachable drives, including connected backup drives. Immutable backups are not affected — clean recovery is guaranteed.
05How is recovery tested?+
Every month, we fully restore a backup VM and measure the RTO (recovery time objective). You receive a signed restore log with date, timestamp and measured recovery time. Not a green checkmark in some software — a real VM recovery.
06Which systems can be backed up?+
Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V VMs, Microsoft 365 (email, SharePoint, Teams), databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NAS systems. We create a complete backup concept for your entire IT landscape.
